Green Bonds is a modern tool enabling access to financing from capital markets and the implementation of projects related to sustainable development, ecology or the development of unconventional energy.
Columbus Energy S.A., on December 31, 2020, concluded with Dom Maklerski BOŚ an agreement for a bond issue program up to 200 million PLN, which are to meet the Green Bond Principles criteria. It was the second agreement on the domestic capital market for the issue of Green Bonds as part of financing renewable energy sources. The Green Bonds were issued by a company from the Columbus Energy Capital Group - New Energy Investments Sp. z o.o.
The funds obtained under the Green Bond issue are allocated by the Columbus Energy Group to the construction of photovoltaic farms.
